Digital Art & Design is the training program that trains human resources to create design products for advertising media, games, and movies using modern digital technologies such as Motion Capture, Visual Effects, and Animation...attracting many young people today.

Introduction

The Bachelor's program in Digital Art & Design equips students with solid knowledge from foundations in basic art to design methods, applied techniques, uses of technology in digital art & design, and trends of developing digital art applications in the world.

With two specializations: Media films (TVC design, Viral...) and Cartoon – Games (design of advertising products by animations, cartoons, and Games), students are trained in the process of brainstorming ideas, sketches, using technologies such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Digital, Flash, Maya, Cinema 4D... in order to promote their competencies to create and perfect products.

The Bachelor of Digital Art & Design training program has a training period of 4 years. During their studies, students study in new methods, visit studios and companies to improve their access to practical work after graduation.

Students study general courses, basic tools and art courses to provide them with a foundation of knowledge as well as an understanding of the contemporary issues of the Digital Art & Design major.

Our teaching, learning and evaluating methods

The Faculty of Arts & Design focuses on creating an environment that encourages creativity for students and learning through practice to develop specialized skills for national and international projects.

Learning methods

Organizing online classes using platforms such as Moodle, Zoom and MS Team in combination with traditional classes, we focus on teaching information technology skills and application software needed for the profession.

“Learning by doing” - Learning through practice

This is the core methodology of the major's training activities. Through the syllabus and the combination of lecture and demonstration teaching methods, we help students acquire, create, express and promote their abilities.

Evaluation methods

Regular formative assessment, including short in-class quizzes, and homework. Summative assessment: recognition of self-study, and accumulation of credits through examinations.
