Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thanh Phong excellently defended his doctoral thesis in Materials Science at the Institute of Materials Science - Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology in 2011. Later, he was invited by Dongguk University (Korea) to be a teacher and researcher from 2012-2014. He was recognized by the State Council of Professors with the title of Associate Professor of Physics in 2016 and appointed by Ton Duc Thang University as an Associate Research Professor since 2017, at the same time holding the position of Director of the Advanced Institute of Materials Science. From 2015-2019, he regularly worked at Dongguk University as a Visiting Professor for a short term from 3-6 months/year. From May 2021, he was appointed as the Director of the Institute of Advanced Science and Technology, Van Lang University.
