Van Lang University Trade Union Accompanies the "For the Health of Laborers" Program

Along with 10,000 union members and laborers in Ho Chi Minh city, Van Lang University (VLU) Trade Union celebrated the meaningful start of the new year by carried out a 3.5km walking route to support the underprivileged workers through the first "For the Health of Laborers" solidarity walking program in 2024.

On January 7, 2024, 75 VLU Trade Union Members in companion with 10,000 union members and laborers, participated in the first "For the Health of Laborers" solidarity walking program in 2024 organized by HCMC Labor Confederation, under the theme "Million Steps, One Heart.”

VLU Trade Union members dedicated their entire weekend morning to engaging in a 3.5km route starting from Truong Van Bang Street (Thu Duc City). They walked through other streets like Lam Quang Ky, Su Hy Nhan, Thanh My Loi, Tran Quy Kien, and Ta Hien, to enhance physical fitness and join hands to support union members and disadvantaged laborers.

This significant activity aims at mobilizing social resources to join hands supporting union members and underprivileged laborers in the Ho Chi Minh City union system. Each participant in the walking event will contribute VND 100,000 towards providing support for laborers during Tet holiday.
