Research of The Faculty of Environment

Scientific research is an outstanding activity of the Faculty of Environment with many research works in the field of environment and climate change being accepted and put into practice in reality, contributing to improving the quality of life of Vietnamese people.

Scientific research is the foundation of the development of the Faculty of Environment.

08 years after its establishment, the Faculty of Environment has successfully completed the Industrial Solid Waste Management Project in the locality of Ho Chi Minh City. Inheriting this achievement, the faculty continues to develop research projects by departments, ministries and agencies, as well as expand research cooperation with many international partners from the Netherlands, Japan, Germany, USA, Thailand,…

Our Research Objectives

Scientific research projects are highly applicable in Vietnam and affirm the professional capacity of the teaching staff.

Provide technological solutions in waste treatment

After determining the status quo and assessing the level of pollution, the study will make appropriate and optimal technology choices to reduce and eliminate pollutants.

Develop environmental management mechanisms and policies

Focus on surveying the current state of the environmental management system, analyzing the impacts of stakeholders, thereby building appropriate environmental mechanisms and policies.

Building a circular economy model and sustainable development

Resource regeneration research is a necessary direction in the context of an economy that needs alternative materials and clean energy. The research results will be applied to the circular economy.

Research Focus Areas

Focus on the areas of sustainable development and climate change and contribute to solving complex ongoing environmental issues.

Since 1997, the Faculty of Environment has cooperated in research with many organizations for training and scientific research.
