On January 31, 2024, Van Lang University organized the “Happy Tet Far From Home" program, bringing the warm atmosphere of spring and connecting students who have not gone home to celebrate the Lunar New Year with their families this year.
Tet is a time for family reunion. Nevertheless, owing to personal reasons or special circumstances, some VLU students couldn't go home or returned belatedly for the Tet holiday. To share with the student community, Van Lang University organized the “Happy Tet Far From Home" event, with many meaningful activities, contributing to the vibrant spirit of spring for the student community.
Participating in cultural exchange sessions, the Board of Van Lang University, along with lecturers, shared and encouraged students who celebrated Tet away from their hometowns, giving them lucky money.
Around the end-of-year feast, students shared memories with lecturers, friends, and peers, singing familiar melodies and together creating perfectly Chung cakes amidst laughter. The time spent cooking Chung cakes throughout the long night, along with endless stories, will be cherished memories for these students in their university life.
Happy Lunar New Year! Wishing everyone in the Van Lang community abundant health, optimism, creativity, and readiness to overcome all challenges.
