On successful completion of this course, students should be able to perform basic surgical techniques applied in clinical dentistry.

Explain the roles of suturing techniques, indicate suturing techniques, and explain the pros and cons of different types of surgical needles and sutures.

In-depth knowledge 

Perform hand tying and instrument tying, perform interrupted and continuous sutures, and perform full-thickness flaps on pig jaws.

Kỹ thuật khâu và lật vạt cơ bản

Students will practice hand tying and instrument tying, different types of interrupted and continuous sutures on embroidery hoops with cotton fabric or rubber dam, and on pig ears and jaws. Also, on pig jaws, they will practice full-thickness flap and suturing techniques in dentistry.
