Introduction

Math modules train students to think logically, critically, and develop problem-solving and recognition skills. Students will understand and apply Mathematics to life, feel the "beauty" and enjoyment that Mathematics brings.

The department currently has 14 full-time lecturers. All instructors have a Master's degree or higher.

Learning, teaching and evaluating methods

Learning methods

Read study materials at home, attend class for lectures and discussions, and do exercises while attending class. Students are encouraged to use the synthesis of knowledge from other subjects and their understandings and experiences in life to translate into problems in the subject.

Teaching methods

Lecture, discussion, flipped classroom model, guide students to do exercises.

Evaluation methods

According to the regulations issued by the School at the current time. Each module will have a progress score and a final grade (ratio 50-50)
