Master of Arts in English Language

The Master of Arts in English Language program at the Faculty of Foreign Languages of Van Lang University focuses on supplementing and improving English language knowledge and interdisciplinary knowledge. Students can put their knowledge into practice and undertake independent research

Introduction

With two research and application orientations, the Master's program in English Language enhances the in-depth knowledge of Foreign Language Science and skills to apply knowledge to professional practice. The teaching staffs are Professors, Associate Professors, PhDs with experience and prestige in the field.

Training process

- Follow credit studies. - Mode of study: on-site study during the training period of 18 months

Graduation requirements

- Students' foreign language proficiency level 2 is equivalent to level B1 or level 3/6 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) - Thesis score of 5.5 or higher, - Have submitted a thesis that has been satisfactorily reviewed by the evaluation board or higher, certified by the instructor and the chairman of the board - Have publicly published the full thesis on the website of the training institution according to regulations.

Diplomas

The head of the training institution decides to grant master's degrees and transcripts to students who are eligible to graduate. Students who meet the above conditions will be awarded a Master's degree in English Language.
