The Faculty of Medicine

The Faculty of Medicine - Van Lang University was established with the goal of training general doctors with solid clinical knowledge and skills, innovative thinking, contributing to improving the quality of community health care. With new development orientations, the Faculty of Medicine has built a team of lecturers who are leading doctors with high professional experience. The faculty ensures a base of practice for students through promotional activities in cooperation with many major hospitals.

Our people

The Faculty of Medicine wishes to impart all their knowledge and experience to train a young, dynamic and comprehensive generation of doctors in the direction of general family doctors. During 6 years of study, students are intensively trained in knowledge and practical skills to be ready to adapt to any changes in the environment, locations, patterns, and diseases.

Students of the Faculty of Medicine have the opportunity to practice at: Cho Ray Hospital, Tu Du Hospital, Thong Nhat Hospital, Children's Hospital 1, Ho Chi Minh City Otolaryngology Hospital, Le Van Thinh Hospital etc.

The Faculty's lecturers are leading doctors, with many years of experience and graduated from Military Medical Academy, University of Medicine and Pharmacy Ho Chi Minh City, Pham Ngoc Thach Medical University, working at prestigious hospitals in Vietnam.
