On March 26, 2025, the Faculty of Nursing of Van Lang University and the Nursing Department of Thong Nhat Hospital collaborated to organize the "2025 School-Hospital Nursing Scientific Conference" with the theme "Enhancing Nursing Capabilities in Emergency Care." The conference shared research results, updated the latest trends in the nursing field, and established a close cooperative relationship between the university and partner hospitals in research and training.
The program gathered hundreds of healthcare experts, head nurses, and nurses from Thong Nhat Hospital, Gia Dinh People's Hospital, An Binh Hospital, Tam Tri Sai Gon Hospital, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, and the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Ho Chi Minh City, along with numerous faculty members and students from the Health Sciences Major of Van Lang University.
With the theme "Enhancing Nursing Capabilities in Emergency Care," the conference focused on emergency response skills, disease models in emergency departments, CPR training, prehospital emergency methods, and students' awareness of cardiac arrest and respiratory arrest. These are practical issues that help nurses improve their skills and prepare for emergencies.
Through the conference, Thong Nhat Hospital continued to closely collaborate with the Faculty of Nursing of Van Lang University in guiding and supporting students to improve their skills, meeting the practical requirements at healthcare facilities. This not only provided an opportunity for the Faculty of Nursing to update the latest advances in emergency nursing but also served as an important bridge to promote cooperation between the university and hospitals, contributing to improving the quality of healthcare education and practice.
