99% of Candidates Participate in the First Round of Interviews for the 2025 Talent Exam

On April 6, 2025, Van Lang University organized the first round of Talent interviews for the disciplines of Drawing and Theater & Cinema. 99% of candidates participated sternly in the exam and highly appreciated the careful organization by the university with an online testing format.

In 2025, Van Lang University continues to implement two methods for talent exams: direct testing at the university and a combination of online testing and interviews. Candidates opting for online testing will receive tasks via email, complete their tests at home within 3-5 days, and submit them back to the university. After the preliminary grading round, those who meet the requirements will participate in online interviews with the professional council.

To optimize the online interview process, the examination and IT departments of the university have set up Zoom waiting rooms for candidates, helping to reduce waiting time and ensure a smooth process. Faculty members in the examination councils will work remotely to ensure flexibility and efficiency in the admissions process.

In the first round of online Talent exam 2025, candidates confidently showcased their talents to impress the Judging panel of Van Lang University. Many shared their reasons for applying to Van Lang, citing the quality training environment, modern facilities, and experienced faculty. The exam not only served as a means of admissions but also provided candidates an opportunity to express their passion and share their future aspirations.

Nguyen Hong Gia Nghi, a student from Nguyen Cong Tru High School in Go Vap District, shared: “I registered for the Graphic Design major because for me, Van Lang University represents Art, and when it comes to the art field, VLU has always been a leading institution. Moreover, everyone around me encouraged me to choose Van Lang University. Along with its modern facilities and impressive projects, I am determined to choose VLU because of its academic environment that promises comprehensive development.”

Hoang Quoc Viet, a student from Tan Trao High School in Tuyen Quang, impressed with his achievement of being in the top 22 of the 2024 Youth Singing Contest Finals and winning second prize in the same contest with the theme "Youth Aspirations," along with his ability to draw tarot cards. “If deciding to pursue an art field, everyone hopes to learn from and work with veteran instructors. I feel the same. I hope to develop my best self while studying at Van Lang University.”
