On March 29, 2025, the Semi-Final Round of the "A&A Racing" 2025 academic contest, organized by the Faculty of Accounting - Auditing of Van Lang University, took place vibrantly, attracting the participation of more than 700 students from 26 educational institutions nationwide.
With the theme "Conquering the Accounting Profession with Gen Z," this year's "A&A Racing" contest creates opportunities for candidates to exchange, learn, practice thinking, and unlock potential when solving professional situations in practice.
Dr. Mai Binh Duong, Dean of the Faculty of Accounting - Auditing, Head of the Organizing Committee - affirmed: "A&A Racing" 2025 is an opportunity for students to connect with leading experts in the fields of tax, accounting, auditing, and finance. In addition, the practical problems in the contest also help candidates develop innovation - creativity and equip them with a solid foundation for future success.
In the Semi-Final Round, the teams presented their ideas in turn, then entered a direct rebuttal with the Judging Panel. Do Thi Thom, a K28 Accounting student, a member of the A List Star team - shared: "Through the contest, I had the opportunity to learn more about the nature of the accounting profession - not just dry numbers but accuracy, transparency, and professional responsibility."
The teams shared their ideas confidently and persuasively.
After many rounds of intense competition, the Judging Council selected the 03 best teams to enter the Final Round, scheduled to take place on April 12, 2025, including Beyond Numbers, A List Star, and HAT.
Throughout its formation and development, the Faculty of Accounting - Auditing of Van Lang University has constantly created a practical learning environment, aiming to train a workforce that is both professionally solid and has a high sense of responsibility. The birth of the "A&A Racing" 2025 contest has continued that tradition, creating an intellectually stimulating playground for young talents in the field of accounting - finance.
