Internationally-oriented classes like this provide a golden opportunity for students to learn and acquire important skills. We hope that in the future, the cooperation between both institutions will become even stronger, aiming for the development of the music field.”

The class, guided by Prof. Park Sung-Min, began with two main pieces: “Beo Dat May Troi” - a Quan ho Bac Ninh folk song, and “I Know Where I’m Going” - an Irish folk song. During the class, Prof. Park emphasized the crucial skill in choral singing, which is to listen to both one’s own voice and the voices of fellow singers to clearly perceive the tone and rhythm. Throughout the session, students were taught various techniques and received immediate feedback during their stage practice.

The techniques imparted by this special lecturer were skillfully applied by the students, resulting in well-executed performances of the two pieces. “The choir performance became more graceful and profound compared to the initial stage,” shared Prof. Park Sung-Min.
