Book fair at the beginning of the school year for Van Lang University Students

Aiming to spread the value of reading culture to the student community at Van Lang University, from September 24th to 28th, 2024, the university’s library will organize a Student Book Fair in the lobby on the second floor of Building F, Main Campus. This is an opportunity for students to purchase valuable books at discounted prices, supporting their self-study and research needs.

Sharing at the event, Ms. Tran Thi Nhan Duyen – a staff member of  VLU Library said: “The book fair is organized at the beginning of the school year as a greeting to new students and all students at VLU. With this return, we hope to create a space that connects knowledge and inspiration, while encouraging the reading habits, thereby enhancing lifelong learning abilities.”

With over 2,000 books covering a wide range of fields, provided in collaboration with Thai Ha Book JSC and the National Political Publishing House, it contributes to creating an environment for acquiring knowledge and effectively connecting readers. This is an opportunity for students to access a rich source of information, promote the value of books, and enhance the role of reading culture in education.

Expressing happiness to accompany the book fair at Van Lang University, Mr. Dang Vinh Qui, a representative of Thai Ha Book JSC, shared: “The selected titles come from reputable publishers like Nha Nam, First News, Thai Ha, MCBooks, and Tre Publishing House. The organizers have chosen books that suit the students’ needs and interests. With this careful preparation, we hope the fair will receive enthusiastic support to bring knowledge closer to students and assist in their learning process, reaffirming the role of books as a treasure trove of human knowledge.”

The “Books Accompanying Students” book fair has received special attention from students, contributing to encouraging the development of reading culture. Students are invited to come and experience the activities at the book fair, which will last until September 28, 2024, to find their desired books!
