Candidates Intently Participate in the First Phase of the 2025 Aptitude Test

On March 23, 2025, Van Lang University welcomed over 600 candidates from various provinces to participate in the first phase of the 2025 Aptitude Test, featuring various subjects: Figure Drawing, Fine Arts Drawing, Decoration Drawing, Music Aptitude, and Theatrical Cinematic Aptitude.

This is a crucial test for students wishing to apply for one of Van Lang University’s 10 talent-based programs, including Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Industrial Design (Product Design), Digital Art and Design, Piano Performance, Vocal Performance, Film & Television Directing, and Acting for Stage and Screen.

From early morning, the exam venue was lively and bustling. Le Thi Tuong Vy, a student from Le Loi High School in Gia Lai Province, shared, “I arrived at the university early to prepare for the Figure Drawing test. After researching Van Lang’s training quality, I felt even more motivated to strive for success. Since 10th grade, I have been seriously preparing for this test. I hope to achieve great results this  time.”

By the end of the exam session, most candidates felt relaxed and satisfied. Bui Quang Thien Phuoc, a student from Nguyen Thi Dieu High School (District 3), who applied for the Graphic Design major, shared, “The exam was quite interesting and closely aligned with the study materials. It also matched my abilities well. Thanks to thorough preparation, I felt quite confident. The exam room atmosphere was also comfortable, and the proctors were very supportive, which put us at ease.”

Additionally, the university’s well-organized exam arrangements left a positive impression on many candidates and their parents.

In addition to the direct aptitude test at the university, candidates also have the option of an online format. They can submit preliminary exam papers until March 29, 2025, and if qualified, proceed to an interview with the expert committee. For candidates applying to design majors, drawing scores from six other universities can also be considered.
