On the afternoon of January 17, 2025, the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture hosted a cultural and academic exchange program with the participation of students from Dankook University, Korea. The event not only provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge but also included meaningful volunteer experiences, fostering stronger bonds of friendship between students of the two nations.
Over the past week, students from Van Lang University and the delegation from Korea engaged in various cultural exchange activities and collaborated on community-oriented volunteer initiatives. Through these bonding activities, Van Lang students had the chance to develop essential skills such as teamwork, solidarity, listening, and empathy—forming a strong foundation for growth in an international environment.
The academic presentations brought an exciting atmosphere with distinctive and valuable topics. Dankook University students began with a presentation on “Vietnamese Tet,” showcasing traditional cultural features through iconic dishes and unique customs. This was followed by discussions on environmental protection, carbon neutrality, and renewable energy development, delivering a powerful message about the responsibility of younger generations toward the planet's future. The presentations not only expanded perspectives on culture, society, and contemporary issues but also emphasized the importance of cultural exchange in the era of globalization.
After the exchange, students from both universities created unforgettable memories, strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and Korea. These invaluable experiences serve not only as a meaningful milestone in their academic journeys but also as a source of inspiration for global development and connection.
