On November 25, 2024, Dr. Nguyen Le Tri Dang, a Researcher at the Institute for Computational Science and Artificial Intelligence (COSARI) and Head of the Laboratory for Advanced Nanomaterials and Sustainable Energy Technologies (Lab ANSET), was honored with the ASEAN-ROK STI Pioneer Award. The award, presented by the Government of Korea with support from the Science and Technology Policy Institute and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), recognizes innovative contributions to science and technology.
Dr. Nguyen Le Tri Dang’s research focuses on developing nanomaterials and innovative energy technologies to address global challenges related to climate change. His work includes projects on photoelectrochemical CO2 conversion, CO2 methanation, water splitting, hydrogen production, and other heterogeneous energy conversion reactions. With extensive research experience, Dr. Nguyen Le Tri Dang has published over 50 ISI-indexed articles, accumulating over 2,000 citations with an H-index of 28. He has also served as principal investigator for four internationally funded research projects supported by the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) from 2021 to 2024.
