Emotional Moments in the "United in White" of the Faculties of Health Sciences

During the Vietnam healthcare sector's Tet holiday, the lecturers and students of the Faculties of Health Sciences at Van Lang University came together for the musical show "United in White" on the evening of February 27, 2025.

The event, which took place in a warm and intimate atmosphere at the Trinh Cong Son Auditorium, commemorated the 70th anniversary of Vietnam Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 – February 27, 2025). It served as a tribute to the doctors and honored the solidarity among students and professionals in Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing, and Medical Laboratory Technology.

In her opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University, emphasized the noble role of the medical profession and recognized the contributions of doctors, nurses, and healthcare workers, as well as the unwavering commitment of future generations of students. She highlighted that those who choose the health sciences are not merely selecting a career but making a steadfast commitment to a sacred mission—one of nurturing, instilling hope, and sustaining life.

The highlight of the evening was a series of captivating performances, featuring 15 meticulously prepared acts by students and lecturers from the Faculties of Health Sciences. Each performance conveyed a profound message of dedication to community service.

The performances were outstanding, meticulously prepared, and professionally executed.

Among the standout performances was the musical drama "The Doctor’s Journey" by the Class 29 of the Faculty of Medicine, vividly portraying the arduous path to becoming a doctor. Through everyday stories of medical professionals and inspirational examples of selfless dedication during the COVID-19 pandemic, the performance encouraged students to persevere in pursuing their dreams.

The recycled fashion show with the theme "Rebirth", presented by Medical Laboratory Technology students, offered a multifaceted perspective on the responsibility of healthcare professionals toward environmental sustainability.

The stunning recycled outfits showcased the creativity and commitment of Health Sciences students at Van Lang University.

The musical show "United in White" was more than just a night of entertainment—it fostered a deep emotional connection between faculty and students while igniting a profound love for the profession in the hearts of future healthcare practitioners.
