On October 29 and November 5, 2024, Van Lang University welcomed a delegation from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) for a visit and collaborative discussions. During the event, representatives from the University's Administrators and the Honors Program engaged with their partners to explore future cooperation opportunities, aiming to enhance teaching quality and student experiences.
During the first visit, Mr. Iain Watt - Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President of the University of Technology Sydney expressed his delight at the opportunity to visit and work directly at Van Lang University. He shared, "Van Lang has truly impressed me. The campus is very modern, and students must have an excellent experience here. I also admire the university for the professionalism of its faculty during our interactions and its outstanding rise in the rankings of sustainable universities."
The international program between Van Lang University and the University of Technology Sydney opens up numerous opportunities for students from both countries to exchange cultural experiences and learning methods, contributing to the development of high-quality workforce for society. With a vision to spread positive values to the community, during the second visit, Van Lang University and the University of Technology Sydney discussed specific international training programs and policies for Van Lang University's students.
At both meetings, VLU's students had the opportunity to share their personal aspirations for studying and experiencing life at Australia's #1 young university. The sessions concluded with positive signals for strengthening educational cooperation between the two sides. It is hoped that in the coming time, the two institutions will expand their collaboration and provide students with more activities to enhance knowledge and skills, aiming to train global citizens who can meet the demanding requirements of today's fluctuating market.
