On November 1, 2024, the Student Success Center at Van Lang University organized Sacombank's recruitment day titled “Potential Interns 2025 - A Three-Month Journey to Brighten Your Future.” This event aimed to create internship opportunities for junior and senior students in Law Major, Information Technology Major, and Faculties of Economics, Business & Management who are eager to work in a professional environment and take on challenges at a prestigious bank.
Mr. Huynh Van Hoa, Head of Recruitment at Sacombank, shared: "With the mission of contributing to the shared growth of the community and society, we hope to collaborate with Van Lang University to train high-quality human resources for the labor market. I believe this three-month internship will equip students with valuable skills and help them unlock their full potential."
By fostering strong ties with businesses, Van Lang University aims to provide students with insights into current labor market demands. Recruitment events like this serve as a bridge for the university to introduce its well-trained, high-quality young talent to companies. Ms. Ngo Cao Hoai Linh, who is the Director of the Student Success Center and also the Director of the Van Lang Incubation Center, highlighted the importance of employers' feedback after the internship period. Such evaluations will enable the university to refine its training programs, aligning them with the latest trends in recruitment needs.
During the session, Sacombank representatives introduced the Potential Intern Program, outlining exclusive benefits for interns, the application and development roadmap, and specific job openings. Students also participated in direct interviews and applied for roles such as Customer Consultant, Personal Customer Specialist, and Corporate Customer Specialist. These direct interactions provided students with a clear understanding of the recruitment and interview process, enabling them to better prepare to adapt employer expectations.
