In February 2024, the Van Lang student community in the United States welcomed two new members, Nguyen Ai Hien and Nguyen Thao My, both students from the 28th cohort of the Business Administration program.
After completing their first year program at Van Lang University with 10 core courses and meeting English proficiency requirements, Ai Hien and Thao My continued their studies at Angelo State University (USA) for 3
years to complete the Business Administration program and receive an International Bachelor's degree.
Based on the collaboration between Van Lang University and Angelo State University since August 2021, this transfer program aims to expand options for young students who desire to study at an international environment in the United States.
Ai Hien and Thao My participated in extracurricular activities at the Angelo State University gymnasium. According to their sharing, international students at Angelo State University initially receive guidance from professors to get acquainted with the learning environment, participate in early semester activities, attend English enhancement classes, and learn about living conditions in the USA. Besides regular classes, students are encouraged to engage in sports, explore the culture and immerse themselves in major campus events.
"The professors at the University are very friendly and supportive, making classes very enjoyable. The campus with its lush greenery and student-friendly amenities is also impressive," Ai Hien recounted.
Van Lang University is rapidly accelerating its international integration with partner networks in many countries. Recently, Van Lang has continuously received good news as more students achieve academic success and actively participate in international exchange programs. Additionally, the number of international students choosing Van Lang as their study destination is increasing. These are promising signs on Van Lang University's journey to build an internationally standardized learning environment, helping young students unleash their potential and positively impact the community.
Established in 1928, Angelo State University has over 10,000 students. It has received numerous awards and honors, ranking in the top 15% of "Best Colleges" in the USA for 8 consecutive years (by Princeton Review).
