Faculty of Public Relations - Communications Signs MOU with 100 Companies for Multimedia Project Season 2

On February 15, 2025, the Faculty of Public Relations - Communications of Van Lang University held a signing ceremony for the partnership of the Multimedia Project Season 2, marking an important step in connecting the university with businesses. The event gathered 100 companies from various fields and accompanied 2,000 students through their internship module, opening up opportunities for in-depth collaboration in the future.

Aiming to train high-quality human resources for the communications industry, the project offers students a valuable opportunity to develop skills and gain practical experience by working on multimedia communication projects for businesses. This is not only a learning experience but also a solid stepping stone that will help students confidently enter the job market after graduation.

The project will be implemented in two phases, each lasting 8 weeks:

• Phase 1 (March 17 - May 12, 2025): for Class 28 majoring in Multimedia Communications;
• Phase 2 (May 26 - July 21, 2025): for Class 28 majoring in Public Relation

Dr. Vo Van Tuan, Standing Vice-President and Dean of the Faculty of Public Relations - Communications at Van Lang University, shared: “This project is a vivid testament to the department’s commitment to the educational philosophy of ‘Learning through practice, working professionally.’ This is a challenging journey, not only an opportunity to learn but also a real-world environment where students apply their knowledge, hone their skills, and approach the real needs of the communications industry.”

With the theme "Accompanying Businesses, Lifting Steps for the Future," Multimedia Project Season 2 promises to offer exciting experiences, where students will be exposed to digital technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and modern multimedia tools. Season 2 also opens up opportunities for rich real-world experiences through the Co-op semester program, allowing students to accumulate valuable experience before graduation. Additionally, students will have the chance to visit companies, factories, learn about real operational processes, and interact with leading industry experts.

Dr. Hoang Xuan Phuong, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Public Relations - Communications, mentioned that building a network of businesses opens up many career and creative development opportunities for students. She emphasized the direction of multi-disciplinary collaboration with businesses, stating, "Establishing a business network not only creates a strong bridge between the university and businesses but also opens up a forum for collaboration, fosters entrepreneurship, and expands career opportunities for students.” She also affirmed that the participation of businesses is not only a form of cooperation but also a strategic investment for the future, helping businesses reach a young, creative team of students and tap into new ideas and practical solutions.

With the close cooperation between the Faculty of Public Relations - Communications and businesses, Multimedia Project Season 2 is expected to provide learning opportunities, real-world experiences, and help students improve their professional capabilities, confidently stepping forward on their career journey.
