Following the success of the first season, on November 6, 2024, the Faculty of Architecture at Van Lang University, in collaboration with Junglim Architecture Vietnam and 3D Focus, hosted the award ceremony for the second season of the student design competition "Architecture & Culture Award for Vietnamese Student," themed "Digital Technology and the Future of Architecture."
Expressing gratitude to the sponsors, faculty members, and students who actively contributed to this year’s competition, Dr. Phu Hung Do, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, highlighted the remarkable aspects of this season: "The competition has reached a wider audience and made a positive impact on various universities and surrounding regions. The submitted projects showcased creativity, practicality, and a multidisciplinary spirit, fostering a cultural and architectural connection between Vietnam and Korea."
A unique feature of this year's competition was the expanded participation, which included students from other majors such as Interior Design and Korean Studies. Commenting on this interdisciplinary approach, Master Architect Bao Tuan Nguyen, Head of the Technical Department, Faculty of Architecture, and the Chief Organizer of the event, shared: "This multidisciplinary collaboration allowed young talents to work in cross-functional teams, integrating various fields of knowledge. It led to the discovery of innovative, unique, and breakthrough perspectives in architecture."
