WORKSHOP “PRACTICE WRITING A RESEARCH PROPOSAL”

On January 13, 2024, COSARI organized a workshop "Practice Writing A Research Proposal", helping teachers update the necessary knowledge to develop and improve the quality of scientific research.

Associate Professor. Nguyen Thoi Trung, Ph.D. - Director of COSARI said that in addition to the workshop " Practice Writing A Research Proposal ", in recent times, the unit has organized many training sessions and workshops. for officials, lecturers, and staff of the school to support teachers in updating new knowledge, international trends, and practicing technology application skills, thereby improving teaching expertise and research capacity. save yourself.

At the workshop, Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Thoi Trung accompanied teachers to solve 3 common problems when researching: raising research ideas and collecting data; How to use data processing tools; How to choose a reasonable scientific method. Throughout the workshop, participating teachers were guided one by one, from the first steps of preparation to the process of writing and completing a scientific research proposal.

After completing the theory class on January 13, 2024, teachers attending the workshop " Practice Writing A Research Proposal" will continue to enter the practical instruction phase on January 20, 2024. From the knowledge they have learned, each teacher can come up with their own topic ideas and write a basic scientific research proposal, Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Thoi Trung will directly give comments and support teachers in editing in the next practice session.

WORKSHOP “RAPIDMINER SOFTWARE FOR SOCIAL DATA AI ANALYSIS AND MODELING”

Recently, COSARI implemented activities to introduce and guide the implementation of technology transfer solutions from Altair Group (signed MOU with Van Lang University since September/2023). Teachers participating in the class are introduced, guided and applied to data analysis and artificial intelligence in training and scientific research through RapidMiner software.

Continuing the series of workshops to support teachers in accessing and getting acquainted with RapidMiner software, on January 11, 2024, COSARI organized the workshop "Rapidminer Software for Social Data Ai Analysis and Modeling”.

At the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Trang Thao - Head of the Laboratory for Artificial Intelligence of COSARI guided learners to understand and practice the steps of reading data, preprocessing data, analyzing data, and modeling data. data and apply it in practice. From the fundamental theory groups, teachers can conduct exchanges and practice examples of social network data analysis, analyzing the behavior and interests of specific target groups.

Along with the workshop "Rapidminer Software for Social Data Ai Analysis and Modeling", the implementation of training classes for officials, lecturers, and staff of Van Lang University will contribute to improving team capacity, meeting quality standards and helping the Van Lang community access and adapt quickly to world changes in the global storm of technology and digitalization.
