Seminar on “Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Search Engine Optimization”

On March 30, 2025, the Faculty of Information Technology at Van Lang University organized a seminar entitled “Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Search Engine Optimization,” which attracted the participation of nearly 300 students.

The program was led by two Van Lang University alumni: Mr. Duong Cong Dong – Founder and CEO of Duong Gia Phat Trading & Training Co., Ltd., and Mr. Tran Chi Thien – Technical Specialist at the same company.

At the beginning of the presentation, Mr. Duong Cong Dong provided an overview of artificial intelligence (AI) and its practical benefits. AI plays a key role in personalizing user experiences through chatbots, enabling businesses to respond promptly, reduce costs, and predict purchasing behavior on e-commerce websites. Moreover, AI serves as a powerful tool for SEO, supporting market research, competitor analysis, automated content generation for websites, and link building.

Mr. Duong Cong Dong: “Artificial intelligence cannot fully replace humans. It is merely a powerful assistant that makes our work easier. The important point is that AI does not take away the jobs of those who are proficient in using it.” However, he also advised against overreliance on technology, stressing the need for careful and regular evaluation. A strong foundational understanding of AI, he added, is the key to achieving this. 

During the practical session, VLU students engaged in a demonstration titled “Chatbot Application in E-commerce Platforms and SEO,” guided by Mr. Tran Chi Thien. The students not only learned how chatbots function but also explored the effective integration of AI with SEO strategies to optimize search results and enhance user experience.

The seminar provided students with valuable insights into the applications of artificial intelligence, updates on the latest technological trends, and practical knowledge to enhance the effectiveness of online business in the future.
