To enhance collaboration and foster academic interchange, Professor Michael Waibel, a prominent expert in Urban Planning from the University of Hamburg (Germany), visited the Faculty of Architecture at Van Lang University and presented the faculty with the esteemed publication "Handbook for Green Housing and Healthy Living" on March 12, 2024. This valuable resource serves as a comprehensive guide to green architecture, equipping architects with essential insights for shaping the future of sustainable building practices.
In 2019, Prof. Michael Waibel had the opportunity to attend the photo exhibition ''Vietnam during the process of urban transformation'' at Van Lang University. This is also the topic on which Prof. Michael Waibel focuses his research to propose policies to mitigate the consequences of climate change, growth, and green urban management. Accordingly, the book was donated to inspire policymakers, architects, and people to build a green and healthy future.
Dr. Do Phu Hung - Dean of the Faculty of Architecture shared: “Van Lang University is truly privileged to receive recognition from Prof. Michael Waibel, who presented three English hard copies, three Vietnamese hard copies, and a digital copy of the ''Handbook for Green Housing and Healthy Living” ''. The book is a valuable educational resource in improving the quality of life for the community.
