On February 2, 2024, the Faculty of Applied Arts at Van Lang University signed the MOU with the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB), expanding opportunities for Van Lang University students to experience learning and development in the artistic field.
The Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) is known as the largest and most comprehensive music examination board in the Asia-Pacific region. Established in 1918, AMEB has over 100 years of formation and development and became the leading authority in Australia in providing music curriculum, organizing music examinations, lectures, and drama. AMEB is well-recognized by Australian universities and the world, building a network of partnerships with major educational institutions and serving as a benchmark for assessing the abilities of university applicants.
At the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu - The President of Van Lang University shared: "The Faculty of Applied Arts aims to provide a comprehensive learning experience for students. Van Lang University not only cultivates knowledge and artistic talents, but also encourages students to develop creativity, adaptability to life changes, integration, and meeting standards both domestically and internationally. The collaboration with AMEB will be a supportive force for Van Lang University to elevate its education quality to international standards, providing opportunities for students to test their abilities and excel in their artistic journey."
Based on the MOU, Van Lang University and the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) will collaborate in teaching, providing appropriate curricula to enhance the quality of learning experiences for students. Additionally, AMEB will coordinate with the university to arrange examinations with highly qualified judges from the Board, supporting Van Lang University students in improving skills and offering valuable specialized lessons in the future.
