"Train the Trainer" Program of Altair AI Studio (Master level): Empowering the Van Lang Community with 4.0 Technology Skills in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence

On August 22-24, 2024, the Institute for Computational Science & Artificial Intelligence (COSARI) at Van Lang University, in partnership with PCB GraphTech Vietnam, will host the 'Train the Trainer' program for VLU faculty, offering Advanced (Master level) training in Altair AI Studio (RapidMiner). This program is part of a series designed to develop skills in data analysis and artificial intelligence, aimed at integrating and enhancing the quality of academic and research programs across faculties, as well as facilitating the automation and optimization of professional tasks within VLU.

Dr. Clinton Chee, an expert in Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Solutions at Altair Engineering, pointed out the critical role of RapidMiner software in education. By presenting specific data, he offered assessments that allowed faculty members to understand the valuable contributions of the Altair RapidMiner platform. The effective use of this software brings many practical benefits to teaching, making it accessible and usable for individuals at various skill levels with ease, speed, and precision.

During the program, Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Thoi Trung, Director of COSARI, awarded Basic (Professional level) competency certificates to over 50 faculty members from the Faculty of Automotive Engineering, Mechanical - Electrical and Computer Engineering, Public Relations and Communications, Social Sciences and Humanities, and Tourism, among others. These faculty members have made continuous efforts to enhance their professional skills, aligning with the university's goals of improving the quality of scientific research and promoting sustainable development.

The implementation of training classes within the 'Train The Trainer' program for staff, faculty, and employees at Van Lang University not only opens up numerous opportunities for development in research and teaching but also contributes to enhancing the quality of education in the field of data analysis at the university.
