Nursing students express heartfelt gratitude to lecturers

The Faculty of Nursing celebrated the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher's Day with a Ceremony to honor teachers on Vietnam Teacher's Day on November 18, 2023. In the warm ambiance of the new auditorium at Campus 2, nursing students expressed their gratitude by presenting fresh flower bouquets and sincere wishes to their lecturers. Carefully organized artistic displays conveyed heartfelt gratitude, reflecting the sentiments of nursing students during this significant event.

Responding to the enthusiastic ambiance of the Van Lang community during the Vietnam Teacher’s Day, the Faculty of Nursing hosted a flower arrangement competition, in which students can showcase their talents and offer heartfelt gifts to their lecturers. The overall prizes were awarded to:

  • First Prize: Class 71K28DIDU01
  • Second Prize: Class 71K27DIDU01
  • Third Prize: Class K26DD02

Additionally, on November 22, 2023, the Faculty of Nursing also organized a seminar to commemorate the 41st anniversary of Vietnam Teachers’ Day. This event is a tribute to lecturers who contribute wholeheartedly to education, also a special opportunity for them to discuss innovative methods in teaching nursing for the 2023-2024 academic year.

The VLU’s Institute of Postgraduate Education organizes activities to commemorate Vietnam Teachers' Day on November 20th

On November 18, 2023, the VLU’s Institute of Postgraduate Education organized activities to commemorate Vietnam Teacher's Day, fostering connections among the faculty in Master’s and Ph.D. programs.

Over the last two years, the Institute has expanded its Master's and Ph.D. programs, while updating significant changes. It has developed a variety of scholarship policies, and creating experiential and learning opportunities for students.

During the ceremony, lecturers had a light reception and shared teaching stories. Through this, they fostered connections among the participants in teaching and operating transfer graduate-level programs at Van Lang University.

The music night in honor of “The Inspired Lectures” by the Faculty of Medical Technology

The Faculty of Medical Technology organized a Teacher Appreciation Night on November 18th with the theme “The Inspired Lectures" to commemorate the 41st anniversary of Vietnam Teacher's Day, providing students and alumni an opportunity to show their gratitude to their lecturers and foster meaningful interactions.

At the music night, lecturers enjoyed meaningful student performances expressing gratitude, fostering generational bonds, and accompanied by handmade thank-you cards as part of November activities.

Additionally, the Van Lang community is livened up with a range of competitions and wholesome activities in November, capturing delightful moments in the teaching and research experiences of lecturers, drawing enthusiastic involvement from students across various faculties. 

"Messages to my beloved teachers" - Sending love from students of the Faculty of Accounting and Auditing

The Faculty of Accounting and Auditing organized the competition "Messages To My Beloved Teachers," aiming to honor lecturers in their educational journey. The competition unfolds with many warm and touching moments for both lecturers and students.

The handmade cards crafted by students delivered meaningful stories and messages to lecturers, transmitting, also demonstrating the high value of the teaching profession.

On the occasion of Teacher Appreciation Month, students from the Faculty of Medical Laboratory Science have crafted charming handmade cards, meticulously cutting paper frames and flowers, imbuing these unique creations with their deep appreciation for the inspiring educators.

“Show Your Love” contest - Connecting the Van Lang community

The "Show Your Love" contest is part of a series of programs to honor the image of Vietnamese lecturers, strengthen the relationship between them and students, and foster connections within the community of lecturers and staff at Van Lang University.

Through songs, poetic compositions, videos, and artworks from lecturers and students, the university aims to promote the tradition of teacher respect, instill a sense of pride, and cultivate beautiful memories for each Van Lang member.

Given the valuable contributions of the teaching profession to society over the years, may esteemed lecturers experience enduring health, unwavering professional passion, and continue to be an inspiration and motivation for many student generations.
