Van Lang University accompanied Nguyen Cong Tru High school on Health Day

On February 23, 2024, accompanying Nguyen Cong Tru high school on the career guidance program “Health’s Day”, Van Lang University consulted for many students of the largest high school in Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City. 

According to Dr. Tran Quoc Viet, Director of Military Hospital 175, career guidance programs should be promoted to help students evaluate and choose suitable careers.  In commemoration of the 69th anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2024), the career guidance session was an opportunity for students to acknowledge and explore their own abilities and interests.

At the program, VLU lecturers and consultants exchanged and answered questions from students about admission methods and curriculum of the Health Sciences Faculty Group. Sharing about the training program framework, Dr. Bui Khoa Phuoc, representing the Faculty of Dentistry, Van Lang University, said: "With an applied education orientation, Van Lang University constantly focuses on developing practical skills on simulation systems for students, encouraging them to confidently perform surgeries and treatments from the simple to the more complex."

The program received the attention of many students from Nguyen Cong Tru High School. It is hoped that the practical information shared at the program helps high school students choose suitable careers in the Health Sciences Faculty Group.

In 2023, 62 students from Nguyen Cong Tru High School were admitted to Van Lang University.
