Van Lang University and BELTEI International University signed MOU

On February 9th, 2023, Van Lang University (VLU) and BELTEI International University (Cambodia) signed the MOU, opening up for many potential cooperation activities in the future.

With the goal of expanding the cooperation relationship between Van Lang University and universities around the world to bring the learning opportunities and experience to students, on February 9th, 2023, VLU held a MOU signing ceremony with BELTEI International University (Cambodia), establishing a close relationship in human resource development and promote the strengths of both parties.

The signing ceremony at BELTEI International University (Cambodia) had the participation of Mr. H. E. LY Navuth, President of BELTEI International University, Mr. H. E. RETH Chanthoun, Vice-Chancellor in charge of Training and Research, Mr. Ros Paradise, Vice President and Mr. PHOUNG Phirum, Vice President of BELTEI International University. On behalf of VLU, MA. Bui Pham Lan Phuong, Vice President, presented the MOU signing ceremony at BELTEI University.

Connecting online from VLU in Vietnam, Assoc. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu - President, MSc. Le Thi Minh Tam - Head of External Relations Department, Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Tien Hoang - Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, Dr. Le Minh Thanh - Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, and Dr. Nguyen Quynh Mai - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, witnessed the event.

At the ceremony, Mr. H. E. LY Navuth introduced BELTEI's activities and highly appreciated the cooperation with VLU. He said: “Through the meaningful signing ceremony today, I strongly believe that BELTEI International University and Van Lang University in particular, and the Cambodia-Vietnam relationship in general, will strengthen the cooperative relationship, contributing to improving quality education through meaningful academic activities.”

According to the signing, the two parties aim to:

• Joint research activities, publications, and articulations for academic programs;
• Exchange of faculty members, professors, and staff for the development of both parties;
• Exchange of undergraduate and postgraduate students for short courses, practical training, and internship programs;
• Promote study tours, field trips, and cross-culture exchange;
• Collaboration in offering scholarships and organizing symposia or conferences;
• Other international cooperatives and exchange programs that may be agreed upon by both universities.
