Van Lang University announces national quality accreditation for 03 Master's programs

On the afternoon of October 31, 2024, Van Lang University held a ceremony to announce and award national quality accreditation certificates for its master's programs in Architecture, Business Administration, and Finance - Banking. These are the first three of the University’s current 16 Master's programs to have completed national quality accreditation.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Le My Phong, Deputy Director General of the Quality Management Department, Ministry of Education and Training, and Dr. Tran Dinh Quang, Director of the Center for Education Quality Accreditation at Vinh University.

In her opening speech, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University, proudly stated: "We have remained committed for six years, steadfastly embracing every change from the smallest details to gaining a profound understanding of designing training programs correctly, modifying teaching methods, measuring students' learning outcomes, and ensuring that each day at school feels meaningful for our students. This is the collective perseverance and dedication of every member of Van Lang University."

Extending his congratulations to Van Lang University, Dr. Tran Dinh Quang, Director of the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation at Vinh University, stated: “Educational quality accreditation, and quality assurance in general, is an ongoing process, not just a final destination. Today’s accreditation of training programs is an objective recognition of the University’s relentless efforts over the past 30 years and serves as motivation for Van Lang University to continue making breakthroughs to enhance overall training quality, particularly for postgraduate programs, to realize its vision and be worthy of its potential.”

Earlier, in March 2023, Van Lang University had the honor of welcoming experts from the Center for Educational Quality Accreditation at Vinh University for an official survey to conduct external evaluations of three Master's programs in the aforementioned fields. This marked the University's first quality accreditation for its Master's programs. During the process, the expert team recognized that the training programs had been thoroughly reviewed, adjusted, and significantly improved in terms of quality

At the ceremony, Dr. Tran Dinh Quang presented the Quality Accreditation Certificates for three Master's programs to the leaders of the faculties responsible for the programs in Architecture, Business Administration, and Finance-Banking.

During his multiple visits to Van Lang University, Dr. Le My Phong, Deputy Director of the Quality Management Department, Ministry of Education and Training, gave positive feedback: "Van Lang University has accomplished something very important, which is building and developing a quality culture throughout the institution." He also shared his message: "In the new era, each University must fulfill its responsibility in training the workforce and producing highly competent graduates to help Vietnam thrive and prosper by 2045."
