Van Lang University signed the MOU with Tan Phong High School - Ho Chi Minh City in 2023

On the morning of March 6, 2023, at Tan Phong High School (District 7, Ho Chi Minh City), Van Lang University and Tan Phong High School signed the MOU on investing in education and facilities, providing career orientation and admission information for students through effective models.

In 2023, Van Lang University continues to expand its partnerships with over 100 high school throughout the country, thereby affirming Van Lang University's commitment to continuing its educational activities at high schools by providing students with useful, diverse career orientation and experiential activities. In addition, Van Lang University's cooperation with Tan Phong High School in Ho Chi Minh City is facilitated through the Faculty of Finance and Banking of VLU.

During the speechl, Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Tien Hoang, the Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Banking stated that: “Van Lang University is currently one of the private universities which has the largest training scale in Vietnam offering 66 undergraduate majors, 14 master’s degree programs and one doctoral degree program. The university always strives to create an excellent learning and training environment for students, while also providing practical experiences for high school students in Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces. Van Lang University will continue to support Tan Phong High School with career orentation programs, scholarship support, and contribute to the development of the school's facilities.”

According to the MOU, Van Lang University and Tan Phong High School will cooperate to provide career orientation and admission information to students through the following models: Vocational training classes, career orientation days, Open Day at Van Lang University, exchange programs, counseling, training, as well as improving facilities for education and periodic scholarship awards to students.

Also at the signing ceremony, the Faculty of Finance and Banking’s lecturers alongside the consulting team of Van Lang University provided thematic skills to the students of Tan Phong High School on "Preventing fraudulent activities through financial apps", as well as gave them an overview of the training disciplines and learning environment at Van Lang University.
