Van Lang University welcomes the delegations of Inha University (Korea)

On February 1st, 2023, Van Lang University hosted a delegation from Inha University (Korea) to exchange information about previous cooperation activities between the two parties and deploy connection activities for students, such as summer camps and student exchange programs in the future.

The meeting had the leadership of VLU and Inha University, including Assoc. Prof. Tran Thi My Dieu - President of Van Lang University; Dr. Ngo Quang Trung, Vice President, MA. Le Thi Minh Tam, Head of the External Relations Department; Dr. Nguyen Thi Hien, Dean of the Faculty of Korean Language and Culture; Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh, Head of Logistics; Dr. Dinh Thi Ly Van, Head of the Department of Korean Studies - Faculty of Social Sciences & Humanities. From Inha University (Korea), Dr. Seung Woo Han, Head of the International Education Department; Mr. Hae Jong Kim - Manager of the International Education Department; Mr. Soo Hwan Mun, International Admissions Specialist, participated in the event.

In November 2021, Van Lang University and Inha University implemented the international program (2+2 model) on two majors, Global Logistics on Business Administration (GLOBA) and Korean Language & Culture (KLC). After a year of operation, the two universities continued to develop programs to assist VLU students in obtaining TOPIK 4 Korean language certifications and B2 English language certificates when they study international programs.

During the discussion, Assoc. Prof. Tran Thi My Dieu, President of Van Lang University, shared: Van Lang University strives not only to provide students with the best international programs but also to set a goal to accompany and support students to complete their admission documents and studying process. After a year of developing the programs, we realized that our students have a challenge with TOPIK 4 language degree. Van Lang University is willing to exchange with Inha University, resolve issues of students, and provide the best possible learning environment. 

Dr. Seung Woo Han, Head of the International Education Department, stated that Inha University was ready to assist VLU students by providing essential information about the TOPIK exam. At the same time, the two parties collaborate more closely so that students who do not have TOPIK 4 can study at the Institute of Korean Language and take the equivalent test. That would ensure the learning process and optimize the cost for learners. In particular, Inha University will consider creating scholarships in the future, giving more options to VLU students 

With a strong connection and concern for learners, Inha University and Van Lang University aim to create an exceptional generation of learners and educate comprehensive learners, bringing positive impacts and inspiring society.
