VLU's Faculty of Foreign Languages signed an MOU with HCMC Ames English Center

On September 15, 2023, VLU’s Faculty of Foreign Languages signed an MOU with Ames English Center - District 3 Ho Chi Minh City Branch, offering learning opportunities for English Languages students.

The ceremony was attended by: Dr. Phan The Hung, Dean of VLU’s Foreign Languages Faculty; MSc. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Lecturer of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Van, Student Affairs Assistant of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; Mr. Lam Thang Toan, Director of T&C Global Education Company Limited; lecturers and staff of Ames English Center - District 3 Branch, Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the MOU, both parties will collaborate on programs for student excursion, internship, and professional apprenticeships; student recruitment and suitable job positions recommendation at Ames English Center; exchange and develop plans for career orientation activities, training and skill development; scientific research projects collaboration based on the needs and capabilities of both parties. Additionally, each semester, Ames English Center will present a scholarship fund of 10,000,000 VND to the Faculty of Foreign Languages.

Ames English Center is one of the leading IELTS and children's English training centers in Vietnam, providing English courses for children aged 3 to 12, IELTS preparation, business English, and study abroad programs. Ames English has a network of more than 50 centers across the country, with over 200,000 students and 350 professional teachers.

We hope that the cooperation between both parties will be implemented soon, enabling VLU English majors to hone their professional expertise and practical work skills for future endeavors.
