On the morning of December 3, 2024, the Faculty of Business Administration at Van Lang University organized a workshop titled "Conquering Internships: A Step-by-Step Guide – Participate in Direct Interviews with 15 Companies." This event aimed to help students meticulously prepare for their internship journeys, craft professional personal profiles, and increase their chances of securing positions in top companies.

Mr. Nguyen Tan Huy, General Secretary of the Vietnam Entrepreneurs Scientific Union and CEO of Health & Education Hub ACC245, shared essential skills that students need to develop before entering the workforce.

Speaking to the students, Mr. Nguyen Tan Huy emphasized six foundational skills to hone before delving into professional expertise: communication skills, presentation skills, work management and time management skills, teamwork skills, planning skills, and self-motivation.

By laying out a clear development path, students can not only enhance their foundational skills but also create opportunities to impress potential employers. The speaker elaborated on CV requirements, appropriate interview and workplace etiquette, and encouraged students to actively learn, observe, and maintain good relationships with their internship organizations.

As part of the "Internship Guidance" workshop, students were introduced to practical internship support programs, opportunities to gain real-world experiences with domestic and international companies, and recruitment websites such as Ejob, which help enhance employment prospects in today’s competitive job market.
