Youth of Faculty of Finance and Banking expresses patriotic spirit at GenZ24 - “Khat Vong”

The featured event GENZ24 - “Khat Vong” was organized by the Faculty of Finance and Banking on the evening of November 29, 2024, celebrating the 42nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and heading for the 30th anniversary of Van Lang University’s Establishment. Every performance was meticulously invested, recalling the glorious past of Vietnamese people, expressing the spirit of youth and the deep connection between generations through colorful images of the past, present, and future. The younger generation is the inheritors as well as the creators of a bright future for the country.

“November is not only the Teachers’ month but also a time for everybody to recall beautiful memories together.” - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Hoang, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Banking, showed his sense of pride and emotion at the program that was diligently prepared by the students of the Faculty, deep gratitude to previous generations, and affirming the determination to inherit and promote national traditions. He also pointed out that building a strong Finance - Banking "ecosystem" is the common goal of lecturers and students in the Faculty, and GENZ24 - "Khat Vong" is a testament to that determination.

The performances were meticulously invested in both audio and visual aspects.

The atmosphere at Trinh Cong Son Hall was bustling with vibrant dances and inspirational songs. Particularly, cultures of the 3 regions in Vietnam were reenacted through traditional costumes and folk melodies. Each of them was sophisticatedly prepared to fully demonstrate the spirit of youth and recall the glorious past of the nation.

The spotlight of this event was also the attendance of Ms. Bach Tuyet, People's Artist, along with Champions and Runners-up from the program "Cai luong Academy". With the message “You are the future of Cai luong”, Ms. Bach Tuyet has inspired all the students, affirming the noteworthy role of the young generation in keeping and strengthening national traditional arts.

GENZ24 - “Khat Vong” was a great success with meaningful moments, proving that the young are not only the inheritors but also the ones shaping the bright future of the country where every attending one can relive the beautiful memories of the nation and feel the deep connection between generations through vivid images of the past, present, and future.
