Continue with the practice classroom for RapidMiner

On March 6, 2024, the Institute of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence held a workshop titled "Practice of RapidMiner software for AI analysis and modeling of marketing data," as part of a series of seminars designed to assist teachers in using the RapidMiner software.

Following a partnership agreement with Altair Group signed in September 2022, Van Lang University launched a course of instruction on the implementation of technology transfer solutions from the group. Teachers are introduced, instructed and applied to data analysis, artificial intelligence in training, and scientific research through the RapidMiner software.

At the “RapidMiner Software Practice” workshop, APD. Nguyen Thoi Trung – Chief of the Institute of Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence introduced the teacher to mathematical modeling, AI modeling in artificial intelligence, as well as explaining the concepts of AI, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, specifically analyzing the impact of AI in the field of training in particular and other areas of life.

Supporting the teachers during the lesson, Dr. Nguyen Trang Thai, Head of Artificial Intelligence Lab, Institute of Computer Science and Artificial intelligence, taught her how to practice data collection, data processing, data exploration and AI modeling, and how to use RapidMiner to find a marketing strategy that suits different customers.

The implementation of training courses for Van Lang University staff, faculty and staff contributes to improving team capacity, meeting quality standards and helping the Van Lang community quickly adapt to the storm of globalization and digitalization.
